This study aimed to investigate the necessary Teaching skills for Arabic Language teachers in teaching Grammar in Preparatory stage and determine to What extent they possess them . The study also aimed to answer these questions: 1-What teaching skills are necessary to teach grammer in the preparatory stage? 2-To what extent do Arabic language teachers possess these skills? 3-What is the effect of teaching experience and type of Colleg on acquiring teachers such skills? 4-What is the proposed profile to help teachers better thier teach of grammer in preparatory stage?

Consequently, the researcher has used the following tools: - A necessary Teaching skills check list, extracted from grammar teaching literature and previous studies. -Observation sheet, designed in light of the previous check list.
Wheras the sample was 34 teachers, selected randomaly from 15 preparatory schools in the Govern of Dhofar, Oman. The results were then , found to be as follow: - The average achievement of teachers in teaching grammar at preparatory stage is good with mean value of (3.69). - The superior skills teachers pose are, the personal and administrative skills are implementation skills. - Teachers with longer experience period are better in teaching granner btan those with less period. - The is no significant difference between sultan Qaboos University graduates and other Colleges graduates in teaching grammar.
To answer the fourth question, the researcher recommends the prposal (Tangue competency Education) which was adopted Ibn Khaldon, and developed by Ali Madkoor in teaching grammer Finally, the researcher has drown some recommendation: - Addressing more concentration in teaching grammer skills whilest practicing. - Helding such workshops to train in-serve teachers in teaching grammar. - Depating more researches and studies in such area of teaching grammar.
