The aim of this study was to identify the level of spatial intelligence, the creative self-efficacy level of grade 10 students in the Sultanate of Oman, and the extent to which the levels of spatial intelligence and creative self-efficacy vary by gender. A sample of 205 students from the tenth grade was chosen by random stratified method from the governorates of Muscat and southern Batinah. The researcher used the spatial intelligence scale of Ekstrom, French and Harman (1987) and Abbott (2010).
The results showed a high level of spatial perception in the sample of the study, a low level in spatial orientation and spatial rotation, a high creative self-efficacy level among grade 10 students in the Sultanate of Oman. The study found statistically significant differences due to gender in spatial perception favoring males, in spatial orientation in favor of females and the absence of statistically significant differences due to gender in spatial rotation. There were also statistically significant differences in the level of creative selfefficacy due to gender favoring females. Multiple regressions showed that creative performance as a subscale of creative self-efficacy contributed in predicting spatial intelligence.
