The present study aimed at presenting a proposal for the development of human resources in the general direction in the Sultanate of Oman according to the six sigma principles. Through the disclosure of the reality of the development of human resources in the educational directorates. Also, the differences in the mean responses of the sample were detected. Depending on the gender variable, years of experiences, qualification and the governorate. The study followed the descriptive approach, using the questionnaire to collect data and information, which included (53) clauses on five aspects. It has been applied to a sample of (450) employees in the general directorates of education in the governorates of Muscat, Batinah South and North and Al Dakhalia.
The study concluded with a set of results. The most important is the reality of human resources development in general directorates of education according to the six sigma principles on an average basis. The results revealed that there were statically significant differences at level (0,05) in the response of the study sample members attributed to the governorate variable in favor of Muscat governorate in the pivot of evaluating employees' performance. Also, the benefit of governorate of Batinah South in the aspect of human resource planning and requirement of statistical quality and variable experience of 11 years and more in the pivot of professional development and for years experiences from 1 to less than 6 years in the human resources planning hub.
The result also showed the there wasn't statically differences due to the gender variable and scientific qualification.The study concluded that proposal scenario for the development of the human resources in the general directorates of education, Accorcing to the six sigma principles, including a set prdcedures.
