The researcher prepared several tools for the launch of study tools including mathematics problems - addition and subtraction drills, on task engagement measurement and "Manual for the Implementation of Inclusive Practices to improve Accuracy in solving mathematics problems and facilitate in Engagement on task" as well as the paperwork of each assignment and the remark forms. The deliverables revealed statistically significant differences between the averages resulting from the prior and post assessment of the experimental group with respect to the mathematics problems tests in favor of post assessment. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences between the averages achieved by the experimental group and the controlled group in relation to the mathematics problems test in favor of the former group as far as the thematic issues and the test total marks are concerned. Furthermore, the study found out that there were statistically significant differences between the averages resulting from the prior and post assessment relative to the level of engagement on task in favor of post assessment for the three thematic issues and the total mark achieved. However, there were no statistically significant differences between the averages achieved by the experimental group and the controlled group in level of engagement on task. The study recommended that interspersal strategy should be implemented to enable the student develop their critical skills in order to achieve maximum success.
