The current study aimed to identify to what extent do Omani physics teachers Practice of principles of the constructive teaching. The study sample consisted of 72 physics teachers from South Batinah Governorate in Oman. An observation checklist was used in the study. Results showed high degree of practice by teachers. Whereas. significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the mean of the degree of practice with respect of ( year class. years of experience. number of workshops attended by the teacher ). there are significant differences at (α = 0.05) with respect to gender in favor of females. The study recommended the following : Emphasize the importance of providing a constructive learning environment .through the provision of educational materials to enrich the learning environment suitable for students . and provide sufficient time for students to carry out activities. focus on higher mental skills. and encourage the use of modern technologies. thus facilitating the use of constructive thinking practices .and design a guide to constructive learning and strategies. and to develop the competencies of teachers in order to use constructive teaching skills in the teaching of physics . and emphasis on the participation and attendance of physics teachers courses and workshops in the specialized center for vocational training for teachers on the teaching of building.
