The aim of the study is to find out the relationship between self-efficacy and students' attitudes towards psychological and social counseling among a sample of General Diploma students in South Batinah Province and to find out the differences in self-efficacy among students according to the social variable. The sample was randomly selected and consists of 386 male and female students from the General Diploma students which is equal to 20,9% of the original society. To achieve the aims of the study, the descriptive approach was employed due to its suitability for this study. Two scales were used; the scale of self-efficacy and the scale of students' attitudes towards the psychological counseling. The study findings were:
• The students' self-efficacy is very high among General Diploma students in South Batinah Province.
• There are statistically significant differences in the level of self-efficacy among students attributed to the social variable for the favor of males.
• There are statistically significant differences in students' attitudes towards psychological counseling attributed to the social variable for the favor of females.
