To answer the study questions, the following scales are used: Social Support Scale, designed by (Darawesha, 2012) and the Quality of Life Scale, designed by (Mohammad, 2017).
The results indicate that the overall level of both (Social support and the quality of life) is high. Statistically, there is a positive correlation relationship between the level of social support and the quality of life, in other words, the more high level of social support, the more life's quality we get among a sample of diabetics. In addition, the results indicate that there are no differences, statistically, in the level of social support regarding these variables: gender, age and the time of illness except for the dimension of friends' support which showed differences in favor of females. Moreover, the results show that there are no differences, statistically, in the level of social support regarding these variables: gender, age and the time of illness except for the dimension of the quality of psychological life which showed differences in favor of the age group (35 years and below). The study concludes that the social support does not predict the quality of life, and it concludes with a combination of recommendations as well.
