This study was concerned in the types of plural in the fourteen readings of the Holy Quran. In his study, the researcher has investigated different language issues including syntax, phonics, morphology and word significance. The study began with an introduction that clarified the importance of the study and its goals. In addition, it mentioned the types and the weights of plurals. Moreover, it introduced the fourteen imams (proficients)of the fourteen readings and their narrators. It also talked about the importance of the exceptional readings and the role of these readings in enriching the language along with their impact in linguistic studies and their relation to the Arab dialects,
The introduction is followed by three chapters: the first is phonetics and morphology in which I studied the sound phenomena in the plurality in the Holy Quran such as Immala, tafkheem, tarqeeq, tahqeeq, atasheel, alishmam, arawm.and many others along with the relation of these phenomena to the Arab dialects.
The second is syntax where I discussed the Quranic plurals that touched the syntax issues such as accompany, conjunctions, adverbs and occupations. I also discussed the readings' imams opinions in these issues.
The third is word significance where I discussed different issues of word meanings which contained shifting, forwarding, back warding, elaborating, synonyms and antonyms.
I have started these three chapters with a preview which is the entrance to each chapter of this study in which I considered the
suitability to each topic as I elaborated where needed and I shortened where suitable.
Finally, I ended with the conclusion and the results of the study.
