This research aims to study the anecdotes in the book called: "collection of gems in witticisms and anecdotes, Ibrahim Al-Husari (d. 17 AH) by identifying the verb structure verbal from the perspective of verbal acts theory, according to the classification developed by Searle.
The research was divided as follows:
-Introduction: Which dealt with the problem of the study and its objectives, and the rationale for the choice subject, then the previous studies, and the organizational structure of the study.
-Provided the following definition of the entrance of Ibrahim Al-Husari owner of the blog, and the definition of the blog briefly. •Chapter One: The anecdote and speech acts theory (a theoretical separation).
•Chapter tow: is a separation appropriated side applied to the study, and includes two sections:
•Conclusion: the presentation of the most prominent results of the study, including:
- Verbal acts theory opens up new horizons in reading literary heritage; because they provide us with a fertile concepts help us in detecting luminous aspects of the traditional text like anecdotes
. - Anecdotes often resort to the use of more than one permit hint, hint informed because the effect on the recipient of the permit.
- Anecdotes of the methods that reflect the many aspects of life, on religious, political or social or other level.
