The study aims at discovering the effect of computer assisted program in teaching Jurisprudence in students' achievement and their attitudes towards the subject. The sample is (46) students of Grade (10) at Muscat Institute for Islamic Sciences. (21) of them selected randomly and assigned as experimental group. They received the content of the subject through a computer program developed by the researcher. (25) students assigned as a controlled group and given the subject through teacher?s instruction. At the end, both groups; controlled and experimental were given an achievement test. A test to check students' attitudes towards the subject, were given too. The implementation lasted for (3) weeks;( 3) lessons a week. Results of statistical analyses show significant differences between the two groups in favour of the experimental group at (. 05) level in the achievement and attitudes test. Due to the results, the researcher recommends the use of computer programs in the field of Islamic sciences largely and encourages teachers to use such programs in their daily teaching process.
