This study aimed at identifying the difficulties of loud reading learning among the blind pupils and exploring the factors causing these difficulties. Hence, the researcher designed a questionnaire comprising 62 items classified in two categories: the loud reading learning difficulties and the factors causing these difficulties. The study was implemented on 17 teachers, some of them teach in cycle one of basic education and the others in circle two and above at Omar ibn Al Khattab institute for the blind. The study findings show that the highest two difficulties are: pupil slowness in reading, and mispronouncing some letters and replacing them with other letters. The second category addressing the factors causing these difficulties, the causes came in the following sequence: 1. Family and society, 2. the learner, 3, the school, 4. the text book, and S. the teacher. Accordingly, the study recommended the following:
1. Organising intensive workshops to train the newly accepted students shifting from the normal readers to the blind readers, the newly employed teachers, parents to learn how to read using "brail stratege in order to communicate with the blind pupils. 2. Offering the supporting equipment at reasonable prices and offering books for the blind in the commercial bookshops at good rates to encourage the reading habits among the blinds. 3. Employing an Arabic language teacher in general and specialist teacher in special education to help the blind pupils who suffering Loud reading learning difficulties. The study main suggestions are doing: - Studies on the other areas oflearning difficulties in Arabic : Sanguage facing the blinds. - Studies of the learning difficulties facing the blinds in the other subjects.
