The research discusses the statute of limitation and its affect in the abatement of penal suits. Statute of limitation has become an important principle in cooperative criminal legislation and in the context and laws of the Omani legislation. Its importance is signified in creating a balance between laws of penalizing the defendant and retrieval the rights of the plaintiff, adding to that the rights of the defendant.
T have divided my research into two research areas. The first defines penal suits. The second details the reasons of abatement.
