The study aimed to identify the extent to which Islamic Education Senior Teachers perform their Supervision Tasks as perceived by Islamic Education teachers and school principals. The study addressed the following questions: What are the supervision tasks which Islamic Education Senior Teachers should perform at Basic Education Schools (Grades 5- 10)? . To what extent do Islamic Education Senior Teachers perform their Supervision Tasks as perceived by Islamic Education teachers and school principals? . Are their statistically significant differences between Islamic Education teachers and school principals' perceptions due to; gender, experience and occupation? The sample of the study comprised 80 school principals and 170 teachers. The researcher developed a list including 54 supervision tasks categorized in six dimensions: planning, curriculum and instruction, evaluation, field follow-up, training and professional development. Major findings of the study are: . Islamic Education Senior Teachers perform their Supervision Tasks to a large extent. . There are statistically significant differences between Islamic Education teachers and school principals' perceptions due to gender. There are no statistically significant differences between Islamic Education teachers and school principals' perceptions due to experience and job. Based on the findings of the study, the researcher made these recommendations: Ministry of Education make use of the List of supervision tasks used in this study; senior teachers join the Educational Supervision Diploma at SQU; setting up training workshops and programs for Islamic Education Senior Teachers; implement the Senior Teacher project at nationwide.
