I thank Almighty Allah as he guided and helped me to write on this subject. I have chosen this subject because of its importance in both scientific and practical sides, and the lack of such studies that discuss this matter in details at the domestic level.
Paying attention and promoting juveniles is one of the loftiest obiectives that most of countries seek to achieve. Hence, the legislator, believing in the importance of handling juveniles' deviation by best means, attached importance to precautions of juveniles behavioral adjustment as the problem of juveniles' deviation is considered one of the social phenomenons which are controlled by personal, environmental and social factors.
Yet, I faced some obstacles in preparing for this study such as my academic
supervisor travelled at the same time when I started to prepare for the study; the shortage of specialized sources in the country; the scarcity of the legal judgments specially the principles of the Supreme Court due to recent passage of the law accounting juveniles and the lack of its interpretations; and on top of that the work has not start in the reformatory and the officials did not allow me to visit the residents.
This study consists of two chapters. The first chapter discusses the general rules of precautions of juvenile behavioral adjustment, the duration of this precautions, the non-application of the return provisions and physical coercion against them.
Moreover, I discussed judicial supervision on such precautions, the non applicability of the provisions of the multiplicity of the offenses, the inadmissibility of suspending the implementation of those precautions, and finally approached the liberty limiting places.
As for chapter two, I explained in details the types of those precautions including the precautions of submission to reformatory, submission to the medical facilities, and submission of vocational training.
Afterwards, I discussed the judicial selection, the precautions of the compulsion of certain duties. Finally, I concluded the study by the final recommendations I have reached.
