The main concerns of this study ( The techniques of the Arabic feminist novel in the area of the Arab Gulf) is to analysis the discourse constituents and to identify its technicalities according to the narrative patterns that the female novelist discourse in the Arab Gulf is belong to. The period of the selected novels in this study is located between 1971 and 2001, This study investigates seventeen novels, which have been written in this area during the mentioned period . The semiotic curriculum is identified as a technique to analysis the women's literature among this study. However, this study has, also, benefited from other syllabus, such as feminism criticism in analysing the feminist novels discourse, and critical studies of novels discourse, which, particularly consider social courses.
- This study is divided into four chapters. The first cares about the techniques of
classical and modern echelon of the feminist novels' narrative discourse in the area of the Arab Gulf, with a theoretical background about the concept echelon. Furthermore, this chapter identifies the technique that has been used in both classical and modern echelon. This chapter is, also classify the novels, which are the subject of this study, in regard to the technique of the narrative, and the method of usage.
The second chapter investigates the stable and the developed characters in the Arabic feminist novel in the area of the Arab Gulf. In order to classify the characters in the two groups ( stable and developed), this chapter explains the concepts of stability and development Chapter three studies the novels' language in scene of diversity of voices in the novels. In addition to the chapter studies the structural elements of the language through dividing this chapter into two parts; classic and modern. The last chapter looks at the signification between reality and fiction, and how the novels dealt with the social and cultural issues of the Arab Gulf society.
