The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of map window program in developing the grade 11 students' knowledge in geographical phenomena & their attitude towards the program. To active the purpose of the study, a teaching guide was produced by the researcher includes instructions, examples and exercises for students. An achievement test and attitude' scale were prepared to measure student achievement and attitudes toward the program. The validity of teaching guide, test and attitudes scale was examined by a panel of judges. The reliability of the test was examined by using Alpha Chronbauch and it was (.76) for test and (.83) for the scale. The study sample consisted of (52) students of 11 grade students divided into groups, experimental group which consisted of (25) while the control group consisted of (27) students. The results showed that Map Window program was effective in developing students knowledge about geographical phenomena. Also students found had positive attitudes towards using this program in teaching geography. The study recommended to use this program in teaching geographical topics in post basic education stage.
