This study focused on administrative and judicial protection secured by lawmakers for public officer and any comparable official. The research dealt with this protection from two sides; legally through regulatory legislative texts and judicially as for addressing the most important provisions and principles set by the Omani Administrative Judiciary. This research answers some of the questions regarding the essence of salary and the like for which the legislator secured protection and care, as well as guarantees protecting public officer's salary and the like, the necessary legal means to protect that right and the scope of administrative jurisdiction on disputes regarding salaries, pensions, benefits etc. Is it rights judicial or legitimacy judicial? What are the procedures that should be followed in litigation regarding receivables and adjustments before the Administrative Court?
In answering these questions, the study has been divided into three chapters: the introductory chapter in which we discussed the concept of public officer and the nature of his relationship with the state in legal terms. While the first chapter dealt with protection for public officer's salary and other dues. The second chapter dealt with judicial protection for public officer salary and other dues in another three researches. The research concluded with some results and recommendations summing up what has been discussed in the chapters and researches of this study, and underpinned by the researcher to take them into account by legislators to be studied and put into the ideal practice.
