الملخص الإنجليزي
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between the skills of creative thinking and the self-efficacy of the teachers of the first cycle in South Sharqia Governorate. The study sample consisted of (96) teachers of the first cycle of basic education in Sur province in South Sharqia Governorate.
Two instruments were used: Torrance Scale of Creative Thinking Skills The verbal image (A), and the measure of self-perceived competency of the teacher which consists of two measures: the Alosi scale (2004) and Schwarzer& Schmitz (1999). Statically analysis were used to conduct study results.
The results showed a positive correlation between the skills of creative thinking and the self-efficacy of the teachers of the first cycle of basic education.
The study also revealed the level of the first cycle parameters in both the skills of creative thinking and self-perceived efficiency; which were Mideast level.
Result also show there were no differences in the study variables (specialization and years of experience) for both the skills of creative thinking and the self-efficacy of the teachers of the first cycle of basic education.
