The present study aims at identifying the availability level of the diinensions of organisational climate in post basic schools as perceived by teachers. Moreover, it aims at examining the differences in teachers' perceptions of the degree of the availability of the dimensions with respect to gender, region and teaching experience. Furthermore, the study aims at coming out with suggestions to activate the dimensions of organisational climate in post basic schools. Seven hundred and twenty three teachers participated in the study. This sample represent some regions of the sultanate. The questionnaire which the subjects completed has 56 items organised under six headings: organisational chart and work regulations, management style and management behaviour, work technology, compensation and rewards, work environment and professional development. The main findings of the study were :
1. The availability level of the dimensions of organisational climate in post basic schools as perceived by teachers is moderate
. 2. As for the variables, the study revealed the following:
a. There were significant differences between male and female teachers. Female teachers believe in the availability of the dimensions of the organisational climate in their schools more than males.
b. There were significant differences in teachers' perceptions in different regions. Teachers in Sharqia south and north and Batinah south believe in the availability of the dimensions of the organisational climate in their schools more than teachers in Muscat and Dhofar.
c. There were significant differences in teachers' perceptions based on teaching experience. Teachers with 11 and more of years of experience believe in the availability of the dimensions of the organisational climate in their schools more than teachers with less years of teaching experience.
3. The study came out with suggestions to activate the dimensions of organisational climate in post basic schools. One of these is reformation of educational regulations of post basic schools and separating them from the regulations of basic schools . Another is . finding a static system for coinpensation and rewards system based on efficiency, qualification and years of teaching experience
