This study explores the distinctive stylistic characteristics in children elegiac poetry of the Tunisian blind poet, al Husri al-Qirwani. It shows his view of death and life through expression tools he used to elegize his son Abd El-Ghani. In the first chapter, the study traces al-Qirwani's elegiac experience at the level of internal and external musical rhythm and at the level of semantic fields in the second chapter. Chapter three discusses his poetical structure. The fourth and final chapter is devoted to studying the poetic imagery. The study concluded that diversity of expressions and methods employed by al Husri al-Qirwani to reveal his sufferings are unique in the history of Arabic poetry..
