This study is aiming at presenting a number of measures that would contribute to activate the administrative activities in the Directorate General of Curriculum in Ministry of Education in Sultanate of Oman, through the identification of the management of change principles, and the identification of the management of change activities of the personnel of Directorate General of Curriculum in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman. The Study also aimed at the identification of any possible differences that has statistical meanings at (a = 0.05 ) level between the tested sample, that are related to the following variations: (type, qualifications, experience, job scale, educational region). In order to achieve the aims of this study, a questionnaire has been designed which includes (52) statement in (4) sections. These are: (Planning, Organization, coordination, Implementation). Their reliability and stability has been ensured. The study sample contains (2853) individuals divided into (205) school principles, (214) School Principle assistants, (284) educational supervisor, (2150) school teacher. The data has been processed using average, standard deviation and (T) Test to verify the variations of changes related to gender, Also, T-test, One way ANOVA and Scheffe Test To verify the variations of changes related to the following: (Qualifications, Years of Experience, Job Scale, Educational Region). Some of the significant results that has been identified that the administrative behaviors for the four sections of the study have ranged between low to medium. The organization section has been identified as the highest with an average of (2.78) which means that it is performed medium. Followed by the planning section with an average of (2.69) which means a medium performance. The third section was the coordination section with and average of 2.59) which means a low performance. The planning section was the last section in term of performance and strategic principles with an average of (2.56) which means low performance. Other significant results for the study were the degree of personnel performance for the principles of management of change in the Directorate General for Curriculum were performed in a range varied between low and high. Five educational behaviors were categorized high, (16) behaviors were categorized medium, and (31) behaviors were categorized low. In regard to the study variations, the following has been identified: - There are meaningful statistical variations (a = 0.05 ) between the tested sample on all study sections, and the tool as well related to the gender in favor of the male. There is not meaningful statistical variations (a = 0.05 ) between the tested sample related to the educational qualifications on all study sections. There are meaningful statistical variations (a = 0.05 ) related to years of experience between: Less than 5 years of experience group and more than 15 years of experience group in favor of the first group in all sections. Less than 5 years of experience group and between 10 to 15 years of experience group in favor of the first group in all sections except the coordination section. Between 5 to 10 years of experience group and more than 15 years of experience group in favor of the first group in all study sections, Between 5 to 10 years of experience group and between 10 to 15 years of experience group in favor of the first group in the planning section only. Between 10 to 15 years of experience group and more than 15 years of experience group in favor of first group in all study sections. The results has identified meaningful statistical results (a = 0.05 ) related to job scale between: The principle group and the teacher group in favor of the second group in all study sections. The principle group and the supervisor group in favor of the second group in all sections except the coordination section. The principle assistance group and the teacher group in favor of the second group in both the coordination and implementation sections only. The results has identified meaningful statistical variations (a = 0.05 ) related to educational region between: Muscat region group and Dhofar region group in favor of the first group in all study sections except the organization section. Muscat region group and Al Batinah North group in favor of the first group in all sections except the organization section. Reference to the field study and the related literature in the field of management of change, the study concluded a number of recommendations and suggestions to activate the role of management of change in the Directorate General of Curriculum in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as suggesting a number of follow up studies that are related to the study subjects.
