This study aimed at exploring the levels of counseling self-efficacy and job satisfaction among career counselors in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the aims of this study, two tools (scale of counseling self-efficacy and scale of job satisfaction) were administered to 340 career counselors chosen from five governorates. Psychometric characteristics of both scales were assessed. Means, standard deviations, t-test for two independent samples, ANOVA and Pearson's Correlation were used to answer the study questions. The results showed that the counseling self efficacy and job satisfaction levels among the career guidance specialists were high, and there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of counseling self-efficacy and job satisfaction due to gender and educational qualification. However, there were statistically significant differences in helping skills, counseling management and dealing with different counseling challenges. Furthermore, there was statistically no significant correlation between counseling self-efficacy and job satisfaction among career guidance specialists in the sultanate of Oman. Based on the results, the study provided a number of recommendations and suggestions to serve the career counseling and educational field.
