This research aims to study the legal regulation of the electronic commerce in the Sultanate of Oman through the definition of the electronic commerce, concept, creation, development, importance and Quality. It is also important to identify the types and forms of the electronic commerce and the benefits obtained by the various parties and to identify the constraints, challenges facing the electronic commerce, by highlighting these constraints and statement of the Oman legal and legislative organization of the electronic commerce. This can be done by identifying these laws and legislations that regulate the electronic commerce, evaluation of these laws how far can be violated or avoided, and to spot out the problems that can be caused by these laws and legislations and their adequacy. The research concluded a number of results. The most important of these results is the one shows a clear drop in the use of the electronic commerce in Oman and that is for a couple of reasons including lack of Arabic language in these sites which is very important to go around these sites and find ways and methods for financing the suitable projects within the electronic commerce. The low level of the electronic commerce in Oman compared with the level in the developed countries could be due to a number of reasons including the lack of legislations that organize the process of the electronic commerce, weal control ability, lack of secured process of commercial deals agreements and guaranteed payments in addition to the electronic signature. Lastly the lack of the electronic market in Oman, which encourage selling and purchasing through the internet. The research also of recommendations only two may.
• To establish a committee to follow up the implementation of the electronic commerce legislations in Oman.
• Provision of the technical and technological infrastructure that cope with the current development of the electronic commerce.
