poeticalness in "Seerat Al-Muntaha" by the novelist Waciny Laredj
The study of the subject of poeticalness in "Seerat Al-Muntaha" by the novelist Waciny Laredj aims to explore the artistic structure of it by studying the different components it includes: time, place, characters, and the narrative methods the writer is using in his novel. This is to incorporate the fictional and nonfictional aspects. In this study, 1 adopt the structural approach to discuss the artistic characteristics of "Seerat Al-Muntaha". The study is based on a systematic question: how was waciney Laredj able to combine the fictional and nonfictional aspects in delivering his autobiography?
The study is based on a plan consisting of the first chapter: "Shape and general structure". This chapter discusses the clues and indications that reveal the general structure on which the text "Seerat Al-Munatah" is based, in addition to the indications the writer used in his speech to show the dialogue between the fictional world and the nonfictional one. I divided the analysis in this chapter into three subjects: thresholds of the text, time and place.
In the second chapter: "the novel's methods", I tried to detect the aspects of the dialogue of genres in the autobiographical novel, in its components and internal structure. I discussed three levels in this chapter: narration, dialogue, and description, in which the overlap between the characteristics of novels and autobiographies is clear.
In the third chapter: "the novel's actuator", I focused on the characters and their influence in the formation of the dialogue of genres between the novel and autobiography in using fiction to form the nonfictional characters. This is in addition to following its role in operating the events, discovering the influence of the characters in pushing the sequence of events, and describing its artistic structure in the text.
Since the autobiographical novel is closely related to the subject of the author, I enter the world of the author's subject through the fourth chapter: "intertextuality" to discover the cultural, historical, literary and psychological construction of this subject.
The chapters I have set to study "Seerat Al-Muntaha" might help me answer the questions I have, in order to come up with a vision that will be useful for me in writing a critical reading of this autobiographical novel in specific and the autobiographical novels in general.
