الملخص الإنجليزي
The objective of the study is to indicate the reasons that some scholars follow their whims, the effect of this on the Ummah, and the role of devoutness in addressing this problem. It also reviews the effect of incorrect pronunciation on the recitation of the Noble Qur'an. The objective of the review is to get the written manuscript out of the archive to the readers reviewed in the nearest way to its author's intention. The reviewed followed three approaches in this regard: historical approach, analytical descriptive approach, and scientific review approach.
This manuscript consists of various chapters. The title of Chapter One is "On Knowledge, Description of its Virtue and Praise of Its People; On Issuing Fatwas and Adopting Previous Traditions". Chapter Two is On Recitation and Writing the Quran and Interpretation of its Verses. Although there are other chapters, my reviewed focused on only these two.
My work consists of two divisions: the study, which includes a biography of the author and highlighting the book and the review approach along with studying two issues from the book. The second section includes the review of the book. My most prominent conclusions included the following:
1) The author did not title his book but the researched concluded through his review that Mukhtarat would be the best and the most appropriate title. 2) Having good intention in sceking knowledge, purification of the heart, ensuring legitimate sources of income, and humility are the most important reasons to attain the blessing and guidance of knowledge and reaching the status of devoutness.
3) Writing the Quran in foreign language is permissible for those who know how to do it.
4) The person who listens to the Quran but does not differentiate it from the words of humans shall be not be liable in Ibn Nabhan's view unless another informs him that this is Quran.
The most important recommendations of the research are as follows:
1) Increasing research for the title of the book and the door is still open.
2) Researching more into the students of Ibn Nabhan because some sources indicate that he used to have study circles in Al-Hashah Mosque that were full with knowledge seekers. However, we have only few names. This aspect requires further research.
