aimed at investigating the effectiveness of simulation computer program (LEEM) on the development of the 8th grade female students' climate knowledge and attitudes towards climatology and the program. The study sample consisted of (59) female students in grade eight at basic education. They were divided into two groups, experimental group consisted of (33) students and control group of (26) students. To measure the effectiveness of the program, a climate test was developed consisted of (32) multiples and open questions. A climate attitudes scale was also developed consisted of (18) items divided into three domains: important of climatology, concerning about studying climatology, and source of information about climate. Another sale was also developed to measure female' students attitudes towards LEEM program consisted of (13) items divided into four domains: students' benefit from the program, dealing with the program, suitability of the program, and views about the future of the program. The validity of these measures was produced by (17) referees and the reliability was examined by using Alpha Cronbach which was (0.71) for the knowledge test and (.90) for the attitude scale of climatology and (0.92 ) for the attitude scale of the program. The results showed that there was significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the means of experimental and control group in favor to experimental group in their climate knowledge and attitudes towards climatology. It also showed that female students hold high positive attitudes towards simulation computer program (LEEM). According to the results, the study recommended to benefit from simulation computer program (LEEM) and other simulation programs which are available in the market.
