The study aimed to measure the level of anxiety of sports competition among the football player, to show the significant statistical differences among the elite clubs' players in the Sultanate of Oman at the different factors of the anxiety of sports competition according to some variables, and to know the significant statistical correlation among the elite clubs' players in the Sultanate of Oman at a significance of (0.05) at the Factors of the sports competition. The research sample Consisted from (133) players who have been chosen in a (stratified random) way. The researcher has used a (sports competition anxiety state 2) standard prepared by Martens and his colleagues (Martens, Burton & Vealy, 1990). To analyse the results of the study; the arithmetic averages, the standard deviations, and the percentages have been calculated. Additionally, the analysis included the (T-test), test of individual variance as well as (LSD) test for dimensional comparisons and the correlation coefficient (Pearson).
The results of the study showed that: The standard of self-confidence for the elite clubs' players in the Sultanate of Oman is very high by (83.2 %), while the cognitive anxiety is intermediate leveled by (51.67%), while the physical anxiety is also intermediate leveled by (45 %). Also, the results of the study showed that the fear of loss is one of the biggest indicators of cognitive anxiety, the pulse rate is one of the biggest indicators of physical anxiety and the player's ability to compete and challenge is one of the biggest indicators of self-confidence for the elite clubs' players in the Sultanate of Oman.

Also, the results of the study showed that there are statistical significance differences among the elite clubs' players in the Sultanate of Oman in the cognitive
anxiety according to the player's age) significance for a group of players (from 23 or above). And there are statistical significance differences in the physical anxiety in favour of the players who are nationally professionalised. Also, there are differences in self-confidence between bottom positioned teams and middle positioned teams in favour of the middle positioned teams.
But the results of the study didn't show that there are no statistical significance
differences of the the Factors of the sports competition according to ather Variables.
Also, the results of the study showed that there is a positive correlation of statistical significance among the elite clubs' players in the Sultanate of Oman in the cognitive anxiety, and physical anxiety. There is no statistical significance of the player's standards in the cognitive anxiety and self-confidence. There is an inverse
statistical significance among the players' standards in the physical anxiety and self
confidence.
