The descriptive approach was adopted, as the study consisted of 30 faculty members from various Omani universities, and the questionnaire was used as a study tool. The questionnaire consisted of three axes (laboratory work skills, laboratory work constraints, and laboratory work facilitators). The validity of the tool was verified by presenting it to a group of specialized arbitrators. To verify the stability of the questionnaire, the correlation coefficient between the items was calculated. The study reached several results, including the following: The degree of possession of chemistry specialization students in Omani universities was within the high level, and the degree of laxatives that the faculty members see in the specialty of chemistry in Omani universities to improve the reality of student's laboratories was within a very high and high level, as well as There were no statistically significant differences at (= 0.05α) between the averages of the degree to which chemistry majoring students in Omani universities possessed laboratory work skills due to the job title variable, and it showed that there were statistically significant differences at (= 0.05α) between the averages of the degree of possession of chemistry majoring students in Omani universities for laboratory work skills from the study sample with years of service (5-10 years), more than (10 years) and the differences came in favor of faculty members with years of service more than 10 years. In light of these results, the study recommended the necessity of keeping pace with global changes and applying international standards in university laboratories as a necessary step for university reform, and providing laboratories with the equipment, tools and needed materials, and recommended the necessity of holding training programs related to the laboratory, whether in the field of laboratory management or in the field of security and safety, as well as recommended the necessity of Developing students and professors' competencies in using laboratory work skills.
