The linguistic study is considered as one of the surveys that creatively and amusingly discover the richness of a text, mainly in holy Quran. As a matter of fact, I tried to shed the light on one of the perspective of the literal and figurative secrets behind the use of body organs notably, the basic reason to choose this topic.
In this thesis, I studied the body organs mentioned in holy Quran to answer the following questions:
a. Why did holy Quran use body organs?
b. What are the literal differences between the Quranic
verses that use body organs and others that don't?
c. The literal discrepancies when using body organs and their synonyms? Added to that, I tackled the various meanings of body organs in holy Quran verses. This study presents an introduction, an abstract, three chapters and a conclusion. In the abstract, I defined the terms of body organ and its types. I devoted three chapters for the issues of the present study which go as follows: First, chapter one is devoted to the inner organs which includes (10) units. Second, chapter two which is devoted to the outer organs of the head, includes (7) units. Third, chapter three which covers the outer organs of the body, includes (7) units. In my study, I referred to old and young analysts, linguists, Quran servants and even grammarians to uncover the major meanings expressed by (body organs). Finally, the conclusion that summarizes the major findings.
