The study investigated The Relationship between Organizational Health and Teachers Career Commitment in public Schools in Al- Dhahira region Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman . Study population consisted of all school principals with their assistants and senior teachers in a school, totaling (437). To achieve study objectives, the researcher has prepared two questionnaires. The first questionnaire is about measure of Organizational Health. It is consisting 43 items distributing on the following seven domains: educational influences, consideration, cohesiveness, initiating structure, morale, principal influence,resources support. The second questionnaire is about measure of Career Commitment.
Reliability and validity were obtained for the study instruments. Results showed:
1. Level of Organizational Health in public schools in Al. Dhahera Governorate is very high.
2. No significant differences ( 0.05>a) were found in the Organizational Health domain due to Social type changes, Years of Experience while there were significant differences (a=0.05) were found due to qualifications and Diploma teachers in whole instrument.
3. The level of Career Commitment in public Education in Al.Dhahera Governorate in Sultanate of Oman was very high.
4. No significant differences ( 0.05>a) were found in the Career Commitment due to Social type changes. While there were significant differences due to Years of Experience who have experienced more than 20 years. And the qualification for who have got a Diploma.
5. There is a positive correlation and a statical differences (a<0.01) between the Organizational Health and Career Commitment. In light of these results, the researcher recommends the need for continuing the work to keep the Organizational Health and Career Commitment. And that through increasing the motivation of the Excellent schools and train the principals with their assistants, and new senior teachers on ways which help them increasing the morale and the ability and effectiveness of teachers. There is also a need to increase studies of the Organizational Health and Career Commitment in a region or the Sultanate. And studies of apply a quality system, Organizational Health, work productivity and administrative creativity.
