English abstract
This thesis is given to the University of Nizwa, Collage of Arts & Sciences, The Arabic Department to fulfill the requirements for earning a master degree in Modern Literature. Humanism In Elia Abu Madi's Poetry is divided into an introduction, a preface, three chapters and a conclusion. The introduction mentions the importance of this research, the reasons behind choosing this subject and the difficulties faced when writing this research.
The Preface talks about the concept of humanism in The Pen League's poetry and its dimensions knowing that EliaAbu Madi is one of the founders of this league. Also, it mentions the relationship range between humanism and Romanticism.
The first chapter covers Humanism in modern poetry by the Revival,Diwan and North & South Mahjar Poets.
The second chapter covers the major human values in Elia Abu Madi's poetry such as social, cultural and civilizational values.
The third chapter covers the artistic structure in Elia Abu Madi's poetry on three levels; the figurative, the rhythmic and the lexical level.
