English abstract
This study through analysis and explanations covers the basic rules that organize the custody and its regulations in Oman Law. This study is divided into two chapters and there is an introductory chapter which identifies the basics of custody like its definition, legal form and justifications. Also, the first chapter covers the organizational rules of custody and its conditions, duration and style of implementation, while the second chapter deals with the legislation of custody which are represented in the grievance of the custody and Provisional release and the attitude of the Omani Law in these issues. this study came out with many recommendations one of the most important one is to appeal to the legislator to modify the extended remand prescribed in the Code of Criminal Procedure and Laws of other and establish their maximum limits to cope with the legislative articles of national legislation in the modern forms of legislation to ensure individual freedoms and inviolability only in a narrower range, and to embodiment of what were entered by the . Sultanate as treaties and conventions or any other thing related to this issue.
