English abstract
Abstract The study aimed to figure out the effectiveness of using interactive learning site for teaching Social Studies on developing grade tenth Omani' students achievement and critical thinking. The researcher used semi-experimental approach where the sample was divided into experimental group consisted of (26) females and control group consisted of (26). The study was applied Al-Bareek Primary School in Al-Batinah North.
Data were collected by using achievement test consisted of ( 23 ). questions and critical thinking test consisted of ( 20 ) questions. Both of them were validated by a panel of judges and then reliability was tested and it showed that both were reliablite where Alpha Cronbach Coefficient was (0.711) for achievement test, and(0.712) for critical thinking test.
The study's results showed statistical significance differences at (0.05=a) between the two groups in favor to experimental group in both achievement and critical thinking skills. The researcher recommended spreading the use of interactive site in teaching social studies in aim to enhance teaching quality and students achievement.
