English abstract
This study aims to identifying the international protection provided to the refugees during armed conflicts. Hence there are many legal rules stipulated in the international human law to protect refugees, ether those considered as civil citizens or refugees. Besides, the refugees are granted other legal rights governed by law.
In this respect, various methods and mechanisms were established regionally and internationally to guarantee implementing the stipulated protection granted to refugees.
Therefore, this study is divided into a preface and three main chapters. The preface talks about the historical development of the refugee phenomena. The first main chapter highlights the definition of the refugee and the basic elements of the refugee. second chapter discusses the legal position of the refugee according to the international human law. Finally, the third chapter demonstrates the mechanisms implemented to protect the refugees regionally and internationally.
In regard to the results and the recommendations, they are exhibited in the conclusion.
