English abstract
The study aimed to identify the problems that face parents' councils in the private schools in the governorate of the Al Dakhiliyah in the Sultanate of Oman. The descriptive method and the questionnaire were used to collect data and information and were applied to a sample of 118 members of the parents' The study divided in several points, the most important of them are: The degree of the problems faced by the parents' councils in the private schools in the governorate of the Al Dakhiliyah in the Sultanate of Oman to each relation the fields of study as a whole and in each field, the extent that were within the large degree. The results also showed that there are differences of statistical significance (0.05>a), Which face parents councils in the private schools in the governorate of the Al Dakhiliyah in the Sultanate of Oman according to the variable membership, and the benefit of parents and members of the community in the area of ms related to regulatory procedures in the Councils of parents". There are no differences of statistical significance at the level (0,05>a )to the extent of the problems that face parents' councils in the private schools in the governorate of the Interior in the Sultanate of Oman according to the gender variables and the scientific qualification.
This study recommended a number of recommendations, including: updating the regulations of parents' councils in accordance with the requirements of the educational process and educational developments in the light of contemporary global trends to achieve the goals. The active community partnership, involving members of parents councils in the planning and organization of some educational and administrative programmes at the school level .The level of the ministry, allocate a specific budget for the Council from the financial allocations to the school so that it can finance its activities and programmes and reward its outstanding members.
