"Intertextuality In The Fictional Works Of Ahlem Mosteghanemi"
Intertextuality was used in literary texts and this paper will God's Willing – trace this phenomenon in the novels of Ahlem Mosteghanemi (Memory of a Body, Chaos of the Senses, Transient bed, Black is Suitable for You), for the purpose of highlighting the traits and characteristics for which this writer has become known in dealing with intertextuality in its novels.
This paper aims at viewing intertextuality from different angles and to connect intertextuality with the contents of the novels and the paper will attempt to link intertextuality with modern social issues contemporary to the texts subject of the study. The paper will also examine the artistic effect of intertextuality in the texts subject of the study and the extent of its influence on the objective and artistic aspects and what intertextuality adds to the script and to examine the individuality of the writer in dealing with intertextuality in the writer's trilogy and the issues with which the writer was occupies in the trilogy, in addition to examining the extent of the success of the writer in harnessing intertextuality for the service of the creative message and conveying her ideas and completing the beauty of her narrative without this becoming a burden while maintaining
suspense.
The methodology of the research necessitated that the research was divided into seven chapters preceded by a theoretical introduction the first part of which dealt with the definition of intertextuality and the emergence thereof and the second party thereof dealt with a short biography of the author and her narrative works. The chapters from one to six deal with the types of intertextuality in the writer's novels. The first chapter dealt with religious intertextuality, the second chapter with intertextuality with Arabic literature, the third with intertextuality with international literature, the fourth with historical intertextuality, the fifth with folkloric intertextuality and the sixth with mythological intertextuality. The last chapter was dedicated to manifestations of intertextuality in the works of Ahlem Mosteghanemi.
I concluded from this study the important role of intertextuality in novel scripts and particularly in the works of Ahlem Mosteghanemi. which are rich with different types of intertextuality which gave the text depth and delicate meanings.
