English abstract
The aim of current study was to standardize the Self-Regulation Questionnaire among students at SQU. It also aimed to extend the psychometric evaluation of the SRQ. The sample consisted of 757 students from both genders (297 males, 460 females) during the spring of 2019-2020 . Based on the confirmative factor analysis, a four factor structure by Pichardo et al (2014) was confirmed in Omani sample. The internal reliability of the four factor tool was adequate(a=0,81). Furthermore, Two Ways ANOVA analysis was carried out and it showed that the level of self-regulation was invariant among gender and collages. Also, MANOVA analysis among the four factors revealed a slight difference between males and females at the setting goals factor.
