English abstract
This Thesis consists of three chapters, preceded by an introduction, and followed by a conclusion. In the introduction, the reasons for choosing this particular topic, has been stated, briefly. In the first chapter, the concept of "Linguistic Narration", and its conditions, have been discussed, from different point of views. The sources of "Linguistic Narration", their importance, and their history, have been dealt with, in short. The second chapter has given a brief account of the source of · linguistic narration particularly, in the third century A.H. Showing their importance. In this chapter, A short biographies of language narrators, and some idea about their books, and narrative stories, have been given. The third chapter dealt with some examples from narrative works in the third century A.H., giving thorough discussion about their different types, and authenticity, stating that some of the narratives were false, some were subject to change and alteration, and some were not within the historical period of acceptability, in the view of ancient Arab linguists. The conclusion stated, in short, the result of the study. It pointed out that there are some question left for further investigation.
