English abstract
The thesis reviews the objections of Ibn Wallad on Al Mubarrad regarding the grammatical issues, specifically those related to nouns. It aims to discuss these objections in the light of scholars' views on the issues contained therein. This includes the statements of book commentators or authors of reference grammar books generally in order to reach an evidence substantiated opinion. The thesis has a preface that of two parts. The first part addresses the method of response in Arabic grammar while the second touches upon the author's biography and book. Then follows three chapters: the first for the nominatives, the second
for the accusatives, and third has two parts: the first for genitives and the second for miscellaneous issues. In the conclusion, the candidate states thesis results and recommendations.
The most important results:
1-There are diverse methods for response in Arabic grammar, notably conversation, debate, and authoring books.
2- Ibn Wallad did not read Al-Muqtadhab.
3-The most substantiated conclusion is that Al-Mubarrad did not retract (mistake matters) in full as evidenced in maintaining his opinion in (34) issues in Al-Muqtadhab, and (5) in Al-Kamil, totaling (39).
4-The accurate number of issues in Intisaar supported by evidence is (133).
5- The number of grammatical issues related to nouns is (38), following the merger of those with the same or repeated idea.
6-With respect to the issues of grammatical noun, the candidate found two (2) said by Ibn Wallad that Al Mubarrad retracted from and found four issues (4) Al Mubarrad retracted from Al-Muqtadhab.
7-Ibn Wallad chose the opinion of Al-Mubarrad in only one issue, namely the fourteenth (14) issue in the miscellaneous section in the thesis, and issue (60) in Intisaar.
8- There are two issues of contention between the grammarians of Al-Basra and Al-Kufa as regards the grammatical issues under study related to nouns.
