English abstract
This letter aims to clarify the importance of CIF sale in Omani commerce law, which considered as the most important moritime sale by answering the following questions: What is the differences between CIF Sale and the other types of moritime sale What is ÇIF Sale? what are its characteristics? What is the importance biel of loding to the CIF sale? *What are consequences of CIF sale for sellers and buyers? *What is the obligotioan on CIF sale parties of violating the obligation? To answer all these questions, the researcher included four chapters in his study. He discussed maritime Sole definition and their different Types in the introductory chapter. He dealt in chapter one with CIF sale meaning and its traits .In chapter two, he focused on CIF sale's buyers and sellers, obligation. In the last chapter he mentioned the consequences of the CIF sale parties. The researcher depended on descriptive and analytic method in his study. The researcher inserted the final recommendations and results at the end of his study so that it can be used to enact Omani law of commerce sale which related to CIF Sale. This is because this type of sale very important in the international commerce.
