English abstract
This study aimed to identify the degree of availability of the learning organization dimensions in University of Nizwa. The descriptive method has been used depending on the Dimensions of Learning Organization Questionnaire (DLOQ) (Senge, 1990). It was applied to a sample of (57) faculty members from University of Nizwa.
The study showed that the degree of availability of the learning organization
dimensions in University of Nizwa was large in general in all dimensions. There
were no statistically significant differences in the responses according to the
variables of gender, type of department, and years of experience. Where there were
statistically significant differences in academic rank variable between the associate professor and the lecturer (in favor of the rank of lecturer) in shared vision dimension.
Based on these results, that the university Implement training courses for faculty members to develop their experiences, their educational and creative skills,
provide incentives to support the continuous learning of faculty members, establish systems for sharing knowledge and information among faculty members for reference when needed.
