English abstract
This study aimed to identify the degree of transformational leadership practice among school principals' assistants and its relationship to job engagement from the teachers' point of view in Al Dhahirah Governorate, and to identify the extent to which there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) in the responses of the sample members due to the gender variable. The study is a descriptive approach, due to its relevance to the objectives of the study, and a questionnaire was used to collect data and information, and it was applied to a sample of (221) two hundred and twenty-one male and female teachers from Al Dhahirah Governorate. The study reached a set of results, which are:
- The degree of transformational leadership practice among school principals' assistants from the teachers' point of view in Al Dhahirah Governorate came to a large degree, with an arithmetic mean of (2.68) and a standard deviation of (0.34).
- The level of job involvement of male and female teachers in Al Dhahirah Governorate schools came to a large degree, where the arithmetic mean was (2.68) and with a standard deviation of (0.36).
- There is a positive and statistically significant correlation at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the degree of transformational leadership practice among school principals' assistants and job involvement from the teachers' point of view in
Al Dhahirah Governorate.
- There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) in the study members' estimations about the job involvement of the assistant principals in Al Dhahirah Governorate, according to the gender variable, in favor of females more than males.
