English abstract
This study aims to know the degree of educational innovative leadership in the General Directorates of Education in the Sultanate of Oman and that by answering the following questions:
1 -The members of the sample estimate of the degree of innovative educational leadership in the General Directorates of Education in the Sultanate of Oman?
2 - Are there significant differences in the estimates of the sample in the study Directorates General for Education in the Sultanate of Oman at the level of significance (0.05 = α) about the practice of innovative educational leadership is attributable to the variables: gender, academic qualification, years of experience?
3 - What is the necessary proposals to give effect to the exercise of innovative educational leadership in the General Directorates of Education in the Sultanate of Oman?
To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was prepared consist of (41) paragraph in three main areas. These are: Administrative, technical field, conceptual field. To check the authenticity of the tool it has been presented to a group of arbitrators as well as the stability checked by calculating the coefficient of internal consistency, Cronbach's alpha (= 0.89).
The study consist all general managers and their deputies, directors of departments and their deputies, heads of departments and the directorates general of Education. Their number (362) members, as well the study sample consist (170) members.
The study found a set of results the most important was:
1. That the degree of general managers and their deputies, directors of departments and their deputies, heads of departments and directorates general of the Education for the innovative educational leadership is high, as the arithmetic average (3.68) from the point of view of the study sample.
2. The differences are statistically significant at the level of significance (α=0.05) between the estimation member of the study sample for the degree of practicing the educational innovative leadership in the General Directorates of Education in the Sultanat of Oman,this is attributed to the variable type, function differences were statistically significant in favor of females.
3. There is no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the members estimation of the study sample the degree of educational innovative leadership in the General Directorates of Education in the Sultanate of Oman due to the variables (qualification years of experience.). According to the results of the study, the study recommended a set of recommendations including:
Activating to the staff the principle of participation in decision-making to ensure their rehabilitation, though they will be they the future leaders.
-Make the authorization the most important factors that help workers to take responsibility, and show their leadership potential.
Need to focus on the allocation of funds to be spent on development and innovation processes in the various aspects of the work, and the need to focus on immediate rewards for the work of innovative.
