English abstract
The current study aimed to reveal the relationship between aggressive behavior and emotional intelligence students in the eighth and ninth grades in schools in North Al Batinah in Sultanate of Oman. The sample of the study is from(725) students, divided between (365) students and (360) students.
The descriptive approach was then used in this study, and then the study tools used it included two metrics: the scale of aggressive behavior by al-sharqawi(2009) and included (40) items, and a standard emotional intelligences prepared by abu amsha(2013) and included(48) paragraphs.
The result of the study indicated that the degree of the prevalence of aggressive behavior among students of the eighth and ninth grades in North Al Batinah in Sultanate of Oman low penetration.The level of emotional intelligence at the eighth and ninth round students in the North Al Batinah in Sultanate of Oman was average. The results of the study also indicated the presence of differences in the degree of prevalence of aggressive behavior in males more than females in all dimensions, except after aggressive behavior on the self, is more prevalent among females. And the lack of differences in the degree of aggressive behavior among students in the eighth and ninth grades in the North Al Batinah in all dimensions. The results indicated that are differences in the level of emotional intelligence in my dimension to identify emotions and came to favor of the males, and after employing the agitation came in favr of the females, but after understanding the emotions and managing the emotions, there are no differences. And there are no differences in level emotional intelligence among students of the eighth and ninth grades in all dimensions, except after managing emotions, he came in favor of the ninth grade. The result showed a negative correlation between the spread of behavior aggressive and emotional intelligence means that the more aggressive behavior spreads among students, the less intelligent emotional it is".
