English abstract
This study aimed to build a training program on some skills of psychological and educational counseling for teachers of basic education (5-10). It was conducted on a sample of 40 teachers divided into two groups: an experimental and a control group. 20 Teachers underwent through the training program and the other 20 did not undergo through the training program and considered as the control group.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher has built a measure of these skills consists of (77) items. She, also; has built a training program on the skills and has confirmed the signs of the sincerity and solidity of the two instruments.
In order to enable the researcher to use the test (T), she tested the nature of the data using the normal distribution.
In order to test the first hypothesis, the T-Test was performed in order to verify the significance of the difference between the average scores of the experimental group on some of the educational and psychological counseling skills and between the pre and post measures, and the results pointed out the existence of statistically significant differences between the pre and post measures which are attributed to the training program for the sake of the post test.
There also has been a test for the second hypothesis, the T test was performed in order to verify the significance of the difference between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group on some of the educational and psychological counseling skills and between the pre and post measures after the application of the training program and the follow-up. It became clear that there is a difference between the experimental and control groups between the pre

and post measures and follow-up which is due to the training program for the sake of the experimental group.
And also to test the fourth hypothesis, the T test was performed in order to verify the significance of the difference between the average scores of the experimental group on some of the educational and psychological counseling skills which is due to the variable element the sex. The results proved the existence of statistically significant differences between the experimental group after applying the program for the benefit of females.
The results have been interpreted in the light of a theoretical framework and previous studies. Moreover, a number of recommendations and proposals were also reached to for any further future studies.
