English abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to view the letters of His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili and to study them in terms of their technical structure. To the knowledge of the researcher, this is the first scientific study of the literary production of His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Al Khalili.
The study consists of an introduction, a preface, three chapters, a conclusion and a list of sources and references. The preface focused on introducing the personality of His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Al Khalili and presenting his most famous linguistic and literary works and his literary status among his contemporaries. The first chapter deals with the general influences that helped the literary maturity of His Eminence. It included three subjects: geography, mentality and assemblies.
The second chapter highlights the most prominent types of His Eminence's letters which the researcher was able to collect; by describing, arranging and categorizing them according to the subjects presented by His Eminence. These letters are of three types: Diwaniyah, brotherly and religious letters, and the researcher described the importance of each type separately.
The third chapter is the crux of the research; it is concerned with studying the technical structure of these letters through a textual study of some of them in accordance with certain criteria to include, to an appropriate extent, the purposes of this study. This chapter includes three sections: the first section deals with the structure of the letters and their technical features; while the second section deals with the writing techniques in the letters; and the third section deals with the rhythmic features of the letters such as verbal and immaterial improvement factors.
The conclusion presents the results and recommendations of the study, with some of the letters the subject of the study being highlighted in the appendixes.
The list of sources and references included sources, references, scientific letters and manuscripts which in total represent the main material of the study.
