English abstract
The case study aimed to identify the degree of educational supervisors' practice of creative supervision at the Institute of Islamic Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher applied two tools; the descriptive method and a secured questionnaire. The questioner targeted (98) teachers and 75 of them only responded (77%).
The study indicated that the degree of educational supervisors' practice resulted to be small degree regarding the creative supervision for (SS) at the Institute of Islamic Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman. Whereas the degree of practicing was class visits
and the training courses resulted to be average. For the other methods, the degree of practice resulted to be low. The study's results pointed to some scientific differences regarding Masters Level and above (a Indication level 0.05). It is attributed to the variable of academic qualification in all methods of creative supervision and the total number and to the sample members from the category of More than nine years according to the variable of years of work in the methods of supervisory deliberations and procedural research and for the benefit of mathematics and computer teachers according to the variable of specialization in all methods of creative supervision and the
grand total.
Based on the results of the study, The researcher recommended some recommendations: Importance of applying the supervisory strategy by The Department of Curriculum and Educational Supervision that will support the educational supervisors in activating the creative supervision at the Institute of Islamic Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman. Also, it will enhance the supervisors creative abilities through the training programs and other courses handled by the Ministry of Education. It is important to mention the activation of new technical methods regarding supervision.
