English abstract
The phenomena of intertextuality has become remarkable in the Arabian literary creativity. It exists clearly in the modern literary texts. So we cant hide or ignore it when studying such text. Whoever is concerned whith studying arts has to accept it and an alyse it clearly extract its forms and methods and taste its arts. This study attempts to display the phenomenon of intertextuality in the modren Arabic Poetry by analysing the poetry of the scholor" Abdullah AL-Khalihi ". Methodologically, the study is divided into a theoritical entrance and three practical chapters. The theoritical entrance included definitions of intertextuality as dealt with by western critics. Then in the scond section searches through the efforts of Arab critics in initiating their own definitions of that concept Namely the intertextual mechanics in the writing of AL-Khalihi Throughout this study we concluded that intertextuality is an existent phenomenon in the " Abdullah AL-Khalihis "Not a single text is abstracted away from intertextuality.
