English abstract
This study aims to verify the appropriateness of the protection provided by the law on this
deal compared to the strength that the seller has as the seller has a strong position owner
and technical strength in view of the linked national legislation.
Where the researcher determined the research problem, which lies in verifying the
presence of sufficient guarantees to protect the buyer in the electronic sales contract
through the rules regulating for the characteristic of the technology in a rapid development
and pace, which requires that the legal provisions be in line with the development.
I followed the inductive, descriptive and analytical approach to studying the topic and
highlighting its aspects, as the message was divided into three topics, the preliminary topic

and the traditional contract, the first topic: the general guarantee of the buyer in the
electronic sale contract, the second topic: the private guarantees of the buyer in the sale

Among the most prominent results reached by the study, despite the legal texts guaranteed
by the legislator in the legislation, but the most prominent results are the absence of a text
for abandonment of purchase by the buyer except if there is a defect or it does not achieve
the purpose of the purchase. The electronic sale contract is one of the contracts that take
place remotely, and which is completed, partially or entirely, by any electronic means. Also
It may be difficult to implement, according to the general rules, the guarantees of the
traditional sales contract on some of the electronic sales provisions. Finally there are many
legislations in the Sultanate of Oman that ensure the guarantees of the electronic sales
contract, such as the Civil Transactions Law and the Electronic Transaction Law, the
Consumer Protection Law, its executive regulations and the personal data protection law.
