English abstract
This study aimed at identifying the Trends of Islamic Education
Teachers in Oman towards the use of the educational platform 'Google
Classroom' and the obstacles they may be prevented from using during
the learning process from their point of view. The study sample consisted
of 180 male and female teachers, including 80 male teachers, 100 female
teachers as much as 50% of the original community of Islamic education
(Male and Female) teachers for grades (5-10) in basic education in Muscat
- Oman. To achieve the study's objectives, the researcher used the
descriptive curriculum. A two-axis questionnaire has been prepared. The
first is; Trends of Islamic Education Teachers in Oman towards the use of
the educational platform 'Google Classroom'. The second is; and the
obstacles they may be prevented from using during the learning process
from their point of view. The validity of the questionnaire has been
confirmed by presenting it to a group of arbitrators, the overall resolution
constant rate was (.878) and the first axis stabilizer (.934). To analyzed
the data, computational averages, standard deviations, T-test examination,
Cronbach Alpha and One- Way Anova were used.
The study's main findings include:
- The tendencies of most Islamic Education Teachers in Oman towards the
use of the educational platform 'Google Classroom' were positive.
- The impediments to using the educational platform 'Google Classroom'
from the education (males and females) teachers from their point of view
has been came with high level.
- Lack of statistically significant differences at the indicative level (α ≥ 0.05
) between the average of the trends of Islamic education (male and female
teachers) in Oman towards the use of the educational platform 'Google
Classroom' during the learning process, it is attributed to the type
variable.
- The absence of statistically significant differences at the indicative level
(α ≥ 0.05) between the average trends of Islamic education (male and
female teachers) in Oman towards the use of the educational platform
'Google Classroom'; the obstacles to their use during the learning process
are attributed to the variable of experience.
The study recommended that the e-learning infrastructure should be
reviewed, and work to develop curricula to convert the content of Islamic
education courses in an electronic form; permanent provision via the
educational platform 'Google Classroom'; to expand the circle of
scientific usefulness, IT professionals improve educational platform
capabilities 'Google Classroom'; to avoid the negatives that Islamic
education (male and female teachers) have agreed to exist.
The researcher suggested that a study be conducted to prepare a
proposed scenario for overcoming constraints that facing Islamic
Education (male and female) teachers in using the Educational Platform
'Google Classroom'.
